Adam Spence and Dalton Belcher are back with a review of this past week's Monday Night Raw. With semester finals quickly approaching (and already taking their toll as this is being post late), Adam and Dalton are expecting a slow down in articles for the next week or two, but fully expect to be back on track after things settle down. Hope y'all enjoy!
Monday Night Raw (4-28-14)

Overall Review: 9
Monday Night Raw took place in St. Louis Missouri and was the final Raw before the Extreme Rules, the first ppv since Wrestlemania. The show opened with continuation of the best feud going in WWE right now, John Cena vs Bray Wyatt. We were seeing a dark, confused side from Cena which was only advanced when Bray Wyatt came out with his group of apparent brainwashed singing kids. This was one of the creepiest segments I've seen, and as a huge Bray Wyatt fan, I couldnt be happier. Continuation of feuds such as Daniel Bryan vs Kane (which was creepy in its own right) and The Shield vs Evolution led to a very intriguing Raw. The Cesaro/Heyman and Jack Swagger/Zeb Colter feud even had a good amount of time. Overall I have to say this Raw is what many fans are looking for, when it comes to storytelling in feuds.
Moment of the night: Bray Wyatt gets into the head of John Cena by showing that he is converting Cena's child fanbase.
Match of the night: There weren't many matches that blew my socks off, but on a night of great storytelling I'm not complaining.
What was that moment: Sheamus beats Titus O Neil in about 1 minute after getting beat down by him all the way to the ring.

"Why?"
- John Cena questions the crowd why he was voted into a 3 on 1 match instead of a 1v1.
"You either die a hero or you become a villain"
A bit of a misquote of The Dark Knight but still effective. Really like this from Cena.
A choir of children singing "He's Got the Whole World in a His Hands". So creepy and terrifying.
The kids have sheep masks and are surrounding the ring Cena's in. This is just brilliant.
Bray Wyatt's laughing while holding a sheep masked child.
The whole segment was brilliant. Cena's bit, the kids choir, the Wyatt's, the commentary after, all just great.
11/10. Yeah I know. Not possibly. I don't care. I loved that segment.
WWE's video production crew is stellar.
The Dolph Ziggler innuendos, Hugh "Wolverine" Jackman, and Damien "Magneto" Sandow. This comedy segment did everything right. Ziggler got main stream attention. You can't beat that in my opinion. Dolph Ziggler was born to intermingle with the big stars, he's got that "larger than life" mind-set, how WWE has missed the boat on him is beyond me.
The ultimate test of how many ways can someone say someone else beat somebody and make it entertaining. Heyman wins!
Heath Slater won! Yeah BABAY!!!
Kane trying to drag Daniel Bryan's wife under the ring with him was thoroughly creepy and scary. Bryan now has even more reason to hear Kane down.
I don't know if Cena meant to intentionally refer to Bray Wyatt as a Jesus like figure with the "I'm gonna get him a donkey he can ride into town" very strong imagery if he did.
Shield vs Evolution has been fun and I expect the match to be just as great.
Really enjoyed this Raw. Very little filler (we got a Heath Slater win for it so I'm ok!). Overall very good show. Wyatt, Shield/Evolution, Cesaro, and Bryan/Kane were all highlights for me. Extreme Rules this Sunday is looking pretty awesome.
